Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi to Amboseli – Into the Land of Giants
Morning: Departure & Scenic Drive
6:00 AM: Depart Nairobi via private safari vehicle or tour shuttle. The drive takes ~4–5 hours via Emali or Namanga route.
En route: Watch the landscape shift from urban bustle to acacia-dotted plains. Optional stop at a local curio shop or roadside café for chai and mandazi.
Midday: Arrival & Check-in
11:00 AM: Arrive at your lodge or tented camp near Amboseli (e.g., Ol Tukai Lodge, Kibo Safari Camp, or Sentrim Amboseli).
12:30 PM: Enjoy a hearty lunch with views of Mt. Kilimanjaro if skies are clear.
Afternoon: First Game Drive
3:30 PM: Embark on your first game drive. Expect herds of elephants, buffalo, zebras, and possibly lions lounging in the golden grass.
Sunset: Capture Kilimanjaro’s silhouette as the sun dips behind the horizon — a photographer’s dream.
Evening: Cultural & Culinary Delight
7:00 PM: Dinner at the lodge. Some camps offer Maasai storytelling or dance performances around the bonfire
Day 2: Amboseli Wonders & Return to Nairobi
Early Morning: Sunrise Safari
6:30 AM: Head out for a sunrise game drive. This is prime time for spotting predators and witnessing Amboseli’s wetlands come alive with birdlife.
Optional: Visit Observation Hill for panoramic views of the park’s marshes and wildlife.
Midday: Brunch & Leisure
10:00 AM: Return to camp for brunch.
11:00 AM: Relax or take a short nature walk around the lodge grounds.
Afternoon: Departure
12:30 PM: Begin your journey back to Nairobi.
5:00 PM: Arrive in Nairobi, with memories of tusks, dust, and Kilimanjaro etched in your soul
