Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi – Aberdare National Park
Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive north through pineapple and coffee plantations towards the central highlands.
Arrive at Aberdare National Park—an enchanting world of thick forests, waterfalls, cool mist, and rugged moorlands.
Check in at The Ark Lodge / Treetops Lodge / Serena Mountain Lodge.
Afternoon wildlife viewing from the lodge decks overlooking the floodlit waterhole, where elephants, buffalo, bushbuck, and hyenas gather.
Enjoy the serene, cool atmosphere as animals come to drink through the evening.
Overnight: Aberdare Tree Lodge (or similar)
Day 2: Aberdare – Solio Game Reserve
After breakfast, depart for Solio Game Reserve, one of Kenya’s most successful private rhino sanctuaries.
Enjoy a full game drive in Solio, famous for its large populations of black and white rhinos, majestic lions, zebras, waterbucks, and giraffes.
The reserve’s open plains offer excellent photography opportunities and guaranteed big wildlife sightings.
Lunch at the lodge or as a picnic within the reserve.
Continue with a relaxed afternoon game drive before heading to your lodge.
Overnight: Rhino Watch Lodge / Solio Lodge
Day 3: Solio – Nairobi
Begin the day with a final morning game drive in Solio, enjoying the tranquil landscapes and abundant wildlife.
Return to the lodge for breakfast and check-out.
Drive back to Nairobi, arriving in the afternoon with drop-off at your hotel or airport.
